About Me

Hello. Welcome to my website. My name is Chris Burgess. I’m a 26-year-old programmer who loves to challenge himself and learn new things. That’s why I decided to build a career in technology and computer science. There are plenty of new things to know at every stage of learning.

My learning started when I was a kid. I would go out to my dad’s garage and take things off his workbench. I’d sit under the table and start taking things apart—things like walkie-talkies, radios, stereos, and even my dad’s laptop. I’d figure out how it all worked, and then I put them back together before my dad realized they were gone.

My learning style followed me into my teens. When I was 13, I joined a small technology forum with 36 people across the US. With their encouragement and support, I learned how to take apart code, and I taught myself how to make flash games.

Since then, I have learned how to develop more significant projects. I developed video games, emulators, simulators, mobile apps, websites, machinery, robotics, computer software, and task automation. Soon, I want to start working with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and business management solutions.

I plan to obtain a doctorate in Computer Science and share my knowledge with the world. If you’re looking to learn something new, I recommend looking at my Devlog, where we can learn about technology together.

Whenever I’m not geeking out, you can find me learning, spending quality time with friends and family, or doing something crazy like skydiving.

Stick around for a while and make yourself at home. I hope you learn something new.
